It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at
Book Journey This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what
others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next
“must read” book will come from!

Shadow Of Night - Deborah Harkness
Seraphina - Rachel Hartman
I really, really don't want to give up on Shadow Of Night because I loved A Discovery Of Witches so much. I've hit a brick wall with SoN though that I just can't get past so maybe I should put it aside for a few weeks. I'm loving Seraphina but I stupidly left it in my sister's car so can't finish it until I collect it!
How was your reading week?
I've read so many great things about RJ Palacio's Wonder, and I'm excited to read and review it as well. I am sure that it would be a book that I would want to read with my ten year old daughter. The Grimm Legacy also looks interesting. I heard that there's a new TV series entitled Grimm as well, and my husband and I are looking into it. :) Thanks for sharing all this.
ReplyDeleteHope Shadow grabs your interest again; hate to be disappointed in a book,
ReplyDeleteIsn't 666 Park Avenue going to be a new TV series, too? This sounds like a good one.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Thanks for visiting my blog.
It is going to be a tv series, I mentioned it here :)
DeleteYou have such an awesome book list - so many I want to read - Girl of Nightmares & Wonder for starters! Hope you enjoy all your upcoming reads.

I was thinking the same thing as Laurel. How was Girl of Nightmares? Have another great week of reading.
ReplyDeleteI found Shadow of Night to be worth some persistence. I loved Seraphina and The Grimm Legacy too. Wonder is on my stack because I have heard such good things about it. I haven't started it though. Have a great reading week.
ReplyDeleteThe Grimm Legacy looks intriguing. And I'm still waiting to read Girl of Nightmares.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when I'm enjoying a book and I misplace it somewhere! So frustrating. I hope Shadow of Night picks up for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm going a little crazy - Girl of Nightmares isn't in at my library yet. Oye, I'm super excited!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week :) The Brunette Librarian's Blog
It's hard to put a book down that you really want to like :( But maybe a break is just what you need.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week of reading!
I've read great reviews on Wonder and The Masque. What a bummer about the book you left in your sister's car! Thanks for visiting my blog.
