I was never one for crying over a book until my beloved mama died nearly 2 years ago. Ever since then I seem to have developed a talent for choosing books I know I'm going to struggle to read purely because I know they will turn me into a sobbing mess. Here are the books that have done exactly that.

Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2013

Thanks to my book journal and Goodreads this one was fairly easy to sort out although I did discover that I read an awful lot of new authors this year, at the expense of not reading sequels to books by authors I've read over the last few years and I've read far more contemporary YA books than I thought too. It was hard to narrow it down but this is my Top Ten (in no particular order) and books pictured are the ones I've read and/or own.
