YALC 2019 Reading List Part 2

As promised last week, here's part two of my reading list. I'm hoping by the time this goes live that I'll have read a few more books from the list and some of my reviews will also have gone up. I'm not going to review everything on the list - I'd spend a year typing if I did - but if it's an' up all night' or 'stay up late' book I'll do my best to review it, even if it ends up being a mini review. Not that I'm sure I can do mini reviews, I'm very good at spouting rubbish...

YALC 2019 Reading List Part 1

Yes, you can believe your eyes... I've not only finished my reading schedule but I've also made a header - go me! My reading schedule is split into two parts because, well because it's rather large! I think there are 44 authors on my list at the moment and I'm almost certain I've forgotten to add a couple too. There could well end up being a third part to this list if I have. Apart from actually putting together a reading schedule, I've also made a start on the actual reading and written some reviews. I know, what's wrong with me? My Bookish Year 2017 - July to December

This is where my year went downhill... I had an amazing month in July, I read some great books and I went to ComicCon & YALC for the fourth year in a row, and I met HODOR!!! Then in August disaster struck, my knee gave out and ever since I've been waiting for surgery, stuck in the house apart from hospital appointments, x-rays, and blood tests. Bout of Books 21

Well, I'm not starting 2018 in the organized way I would like. I completely forgot about signing up for Bout of Books 21 so I'm doing it now, partly into day 1 of reading!

My Bookish Year 2017 - January to June

Started well but ended badly... I'd like to forget about 2017 from August onwards but I can't. I didn't go to any bookish events from January to June as I was determined to save for ComicCon and YALC, and I was trying to make sure that I read a lot of books from my own shelves. Neither worked out as well as I hoped but never mind. Here are my favorites of the first half of the year, and, hopefully, followed shortly by July through to December! Some are titles I've reviewed on the blog, you can find them by clicking on the book picture, and others will link to Goodreads.

#ShelfLove - October Check-In

Didn't I just write one of these updates? If anybody knows what happened to September please do let me know... October, R.I.P., spooky reads, horror movies - my favorite things in one month! I've hit my R.I.P. reading target already so anything I read in October is going to be both a bonus and from the TBR pile. Still no surgery news but I do have an appointment with my orthopaedic surgeon on October 19th so keep your fingers crossed for me.

I read 32 books in September. And how many were from my TBR pile?  Not as many as I hoped. My #ShelfLove total increased by 17 this month, taking me up to 118 books from the TBR pile so far this year. Over the next 3 months I have to read 62 books from my TBR pile which is probably not a realistic target.

I'm almost done with my Goodreads challenge though. I'm currently at 92% with only 20 more books to read to hit my target. I'm deliberating over whether to leave it as is or to change it slightly by increasing the total up to 275. What to do...
