Bookmarked... #15

The return of the (mostly) weekly post letting you all know what I'm reading and have lined up for the week! It's my own version of Sheila at Book Journey's It's Monday What Are You Reading (now hosted by Kathryn at Book Date) and I have her permission to rename it for my own nefarious reasons...

Not quite as much reading time this week but I have read some great books! Yet again I'm kicking myself over taking so long to read a series and yep, that series is The Lunar Chronicles! I'm away this week, school vacation time again, so I could well have finished Cress by now too...

In this stunning bridge book between Cress and Winter in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles, Queen Levana’s story is finally told.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?

Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her “glamour” to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story – a story that has never been told . . . until now.

Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death. This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this!!! Having finally read Cinder, Scarlet & Cress this year and desperately waiting for Winter this will fill the gap nicely - especially as we now have to wait until the end of 2015 for Winter! It's published two days after my birthday so I think it will make a fabulous present to myself.
