Book Haul #94

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted on Tynga's Reviews where we can share what new books we've picked up this past week be they bought, borrowed or downloaded. There are also lots of other 'book haul' memes out there for you to choose from!

As expected I didn't receive a single book for Christmas but do not fear, I more than made up for that unhappy fact by buying a few books as presents to myself! Also listed this week are the other half of my review/blog tour books and my December library haul. I've been really lucky with my requests so far but now Netgalley have changed their dashboard I can't find titles I've requested but not heard about anywhere. Anybody know where I can find this? I've gone to request the same title three times now...  My library haul has three Shirley Jackson titles, I own all of them but do you think I can find them? I was in the mood for a reread of The Sundial so decided to have a Jackson marathon, hopefully reviews in January!

Library Books

  1. WOW. Lots of different types of books here. I see quite a few that look interesting. Variety is the spice of life.

    1. I can be a very eclectic reader so I'm covering all my bases just in case I hit a reading slump!

      Thanks for stopping by :)

  2. Wow, what a haul - a lot of amazing sounding books here! :)
    Burial Rites is INCREDIBLE btw.
I hope you enjoy these all and have a good weekend!

    1. Burial Rites has been on my 'want' list for a while so happy I finally bought it! Looking forward to starting it now :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Amazing haul of books this week! :-) Burial Rites is a great book. I enjoyed Belzhar too. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  4. I loved Boy Meets Boy, and I need to read Burial Rites! I also really want to read some Shirley Jackson this year. I'm interested to hear what you think of Talon because I'm still on the fence about picking that one up.

  5. Great haul! I really want to read Talon. I've read Kagawa's Iron Fey series, but nothing else of hers yet. I really do enjoy her writing and I've heard good things about Talon so far.

  6. Wow such a big haul of books! Talon sounds amazing because of the dragon aspects. I love fantasy reads and that's why it appeals so much to me. I haven't heard much about the other books but I hope you enjoy them :D

  7. I got The Lost Level this week as well! I really loved Breed, and I'm very jealous of The Girl on the Train. Awesome haul!

  8. SO MANY HERE and my eyes always go towards Talon..... I NEED THAT DESPERATELY!!!! HAPPY READING.

    do see mine too here

  9. You got a lot of awesome books. Talon has been one that I'm dying to read. I keep hoping my library will recognize it's (I hope) awesomeness and get a copy.
