Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I'm reading both Shadow Of Night and Insatiable at the moment but I'm going to do a teaser from Insatiable as SoN is so new and any teaser could potentially be a spoiler! I'm hoping to have it finished by Thursday when I'll do a combined 'brief thoughts' on both All Souls books.
So, here we go!
'She supposed she wasn't surprised to hear of Vlad's father's cruelty, giving his sons over to a sultan in order to preserve peace, considering his image in the portrait. If Vlad Tepes looked anything like his dad he couldn't have been very nice.'

Let me know your teasers!

This would be Vlad Tepes, the inspiration for Dracula?
ReplyDeleteHere is my teaser
It certainly would be!
DeleteNice teaser. I just read Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost which also features Vlad. Is Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness or someone else?
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my teaser. I am a new follower.
Yes, it's the Deborah Harkness book! Have Once Burned on my wishlist so I'll be reading it soon.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't suppose Vlad's father probably was a very nice guy. lol Great teaser! Thanks for visiting the blog!
