Challenge Updates

Goodreads - 139/365

According to Goodreads I'm seventeen books ahead of schedule, it's all down to logging the books I read with Em & Fred. Counting just my books I think I'm around 100.

Fairy Tales Retold 1/16

I finally got round to starting the Lunar Chronicles by reading Cinder and although I started Sarah Pinborough's fairy tale retellings by reading the first book, Poison it doesn't count because the challenge is for YA/MG books only.

TBR Pile 2014 Challenge 14/50

My official target is 50 as that's the highest level of the challenge. I'm aiming for 200+ though as I'm trying to donate as many books to the library as possible this year - every little helps, especially with all the cuts and closures. I should start adding a running total of donated books too. Too late for this month but definitely in May's round-up! This is a lot lower than I thought as a lot of the books that I've been reading from 2013 or before have been library books and therefore not technically on my TBR pile. I have read 14 books that I own but if I include library books it's around 25.

2014 Series Challenge 3/12

I thought I was doing badly on this one but I have a lot of 'last books' to read so hopefully I should be able to hit 12 by the end of the year

  1. Wow, congratulations on such an amazing reading month! I've read Poison by Sarah Pinborough too and really enjoyed it, it was such a unique take on the original. I really need to start the Lunar Chronicles series, they sounds like something I'd really enjoy :)

    1. Thanks! I loved Poison, itching to start on Charm and Beauty now but so many books and not enough time :( I can't believe it took me so long to read Cinder but I'm glad I did, you should definitely read it, and soon!
