'Paige Mahoney has
escaped the brutal penal colony of Sheol I, but her problems have only
just begun: many of the fugitives are still missing and she is the most
wanted person in London.
As Scion turns its all-seeing eye on
Paige, the mime-lords and mime-queens of the city’s gangs are invited to
a rare meeting of the Unnatural Assembly. Jaxon Hall and his Seven
Seals prepare to take center stage, but there are bitter fault lines
running through the clairvoyant community and dark secrets around every
corner.
Then the Rephaim begin crawling out from the shadows. But
where is Warden? Paige must keep moving, from Seven Dials to Grub
Street to the secret catacombs of Camden, until the fate of the
underworld can be decided. Will Paige know who to trust? The hunt for
the dreamwalker is on.' - Goodreads
After what feels like a long wait the second book in the Bone Season series is finally on its way. By the time it's published in October it will have been fourteen months since the first book was released. Rather disgracefully I read Bone Season, or rather, devoured it and absolutely adored it but never wrote a review! I will change this as I'm definitely going to re-read before The Mime Order comes out.

I had to skim your WoW because I haven't read book one. In fact somehow I completely forgot about The Bone Season - it's lost somewhere in my TBR pile.

I'll admit I wasn't as crazy about The Bone Season as everyone else seemed to be, but I enjoyed it enough to want to read this sequel.

I've been debating The Bone Season. It looks so interesting, but the size and the fact that it is the first of 7 is pretty intimidating, so I haven't read it yet. I hope you love this one!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this before, or the first book. Hope you enjoy it once out, though.
