I've been really good this week, I bought one book! With Christmas just around the corner (how did that happen???) I guess it's time to start buying presents for other people although how long not buying books will last I don't know! I had a great week in books, I won a copy of Prince Lestat from the lovely Jenny at Wondrous Reads which, when it arrived, was signed by Anne Rice. This made my week really as when I was a teenager I remember devouring all her books like a crazy person. Some good review requests were approved this week too so can't wait to get started on them!

I used to read everything Rice wrote, I loved her Vampire Chronicles and read all of them as they came out. The last couple weren't as good but I stuck with them - and her, until she started writing books that really weren't my cup of tea.But this is great news, she's going back (hopefully) to a series I loved (mostly) and it's about Lestat!
