Top Ten Books If You Like X television show/movie/comic/play etc.
So, as it's Fairy Tale Fortnight over on the Book Rat and A Backwards Story I thought I would choose books to read if you like Grimm and/or Once Upon A Time! Actually, I probably would have chosen them even if it wasn't FTF! Here's my idea of just a few of the authors who have written fairy tale retellings that you need to read :)
Sarah Pinborough |
Marissa Meyer |
Carolyn Turgeon |
Kate Forsyth |
Juliet Marillier |
Kate Danley |
Adam Gidwitz |
Alethea Kontis |
Robin McKinley |
Anne Ursu |
Ooh fantastic choices! I definitely need to read Breadcrumbs. It looks SO good. I love the covers of the Kate Forsyth books as well.
ReplyDeleteOUAT seems to be a popular choice this week! :D
ReplyDeleteI've only read the Lunar Chronicles books (and LOVED them) and need to check out the others you listed!
I adore retellings and have yet to watch OUAT! Sarah's series looks awesome even if I've never come across it yet. Lunar Chronicles! <3 Juliet's books have also been recommended to me in the past. <3
