Snowed In? So Read Giveaway!
Welcome to the Snowed In? So Read! Giveaway Hop hosted by Stuck In Books! Up for grabs is any book you like, either YA or Adult and up to the value of $15 from the Book Depository as long as they deliver to your country - find the list of countries here. The only condition is that it must be something you would read whilst stuck indoors because of the weather, think epic fantasy, a classic tome or something fluffy and so on, the choice is up to you :) The hop runs from now through to midnight on January 15th 2014 and simply follow the instructions on the rafflecopter to enter!

ReplyDeleteIf I was snowed in, I would either read 1. A High Fantasy sequel or 2. A Summer Contemporary. :D I'm reading Since You've Been Gone under my blankets and it's awesome!

I'd read whatever I was currently reading. Generally, that would be PNR/urban fantasy or historical romance.

ReplyDeleteI would read either a new thriller, as I know no-one would scare me while I was reading it, or a bonkbuster, set in hot exotic places in the off chance it would warm me up.

Every December I reread Harry Potter, so any time it is cold or snowy, I long for Hogwarts. When it isn't time for my reread, but I feel that urge, I always reach for fantasy, so I think I would want something like Heir of Fire or Mortal Heart. Magical, epic, and PERFECT for winter.

ReplyDeleteI love reading Harry Potter during the winter, especially over holiday break when I can read it all day with no interruptions!
ReplyDeleteI may be in a minority here, but I think a good mystery or horror would be a great snowed in read. Makes the mystery and the horror.... more intense! But, there is just as good of a chance that paranormal or fantasy could be in the works for a day like that too. I have no plan, just read!! Thanks for the giveaway! Happy 2015!

ReplyDeleteI'd probably re-read the entire Harry Potter series. But if I had to choose a book that I didn't own yet I'd go for Snow Like Ashes. Seems like it would be perfect for the occasion (Jamie Coudeville in the rafflecopter)

ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure actually. It depends on my mood but I think chick-lit contemporary books like Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill would be fantastic.

ReplyDeleteI love the whole idea of this hop, it's a lot of fun getting to see what everyone else would be reading if they were snowed in. A lot of great books are mentioned and I would probably be re-reading the HP series because it's just one of those fun, magical series that always manages to give me the warm and fuzzies! :)
