Netgalley November

I have a stupid amount of Netgalley titles on my Kindle which have been sadly neglected of late so when I saw this challenge hosted by A Day Dreamer’s Thoughts, K-Books and Bookish Treasures I had no choice but to join in!

What is Netgalley November?
The idea is to read as many Netgalley books that month as possible. I, personally, will only be reading Netgalley books but you may feel it better to just read more Netgalley books than you normally read in a month. It’s completely up to you!

How does it work?
At the end of this post is a linky list, just add your URL to that list and you’ll officially be entered as a participant. I will then e-mail everyone on the list a few days before November to remind you all about the challenge/task you have entered, at which point you can always pull out if you feel you can no longer participate.
Once November begins, I will be posting a goals post and then I will post weekly updates about what books I’ve read, how I’m doing, etc, and will always include a linky for you to add up your own goals and updates – but this is not mandatory! By doing this together, we have the chance to cheer each other on and remind ourselves why bloggers are so freaking awesome!

What else?
I am also hoping to host one or two twitter chats during the event but dates are TBC at the moment! This will be sorted out closer to the date!

What if I only read one Netgalley book?
That’s okay! Because at least you’ve read even one! The idea of this event is that it is a challenge to try and read as many netgalley books as we can, but there’s no such thing as losing! You simply join in the event to give it a go and have some fun while you’re at it!

Do I need to write a post to sign up?
Definitely not! But, if you wanted to help spread the word by writing an “I’m in” post on your blog, I certainly won’t stop you! And there’s always Facebook and Twitter as well!
And to make things easier for you, here’s the grab code for the button! (if you want it a different size, don’t hesitate to ask!)

 Levels
Easy: 1-4
Medium: 5-10
Hard: 11-15
Difficult: 16-20
Netgalley Superstar: 21+

Because I'm either insane, an idiot or both I'm going for Difficult level so I'm aiming to read between 16 and 20 Netgalley titles throughout November - and not much else... As I read them I'll add titles to this post and a link to my review so feel free to check back through the month and cheer me on, I could well need all the encouragement I can get :)

  1. I have really noticed that my approval rating has gone done since Netgalley started to provide a percentage on my profile.
After the first week I am at approx. 50%. I don't know how close to 80% I will get ( my math's isn't very good) but I am aiming to read 8 books during the challenge. Good luck with your mammoth 16-20 book challenge!
My plan is to start with the recently published and work my way back through my galleys.
Now, if only I could resist the urge to request more titles....

    1. I think I'm going to need all the luck in the world! I've been really good though and only downloaded one NG title since starting the challenge.

      Thanks for stopping by :)
