Cinderella -> Cinder by Marissa Meyer.
Twelve dancing princesses -> Entwined by Heather Dixon & Wildwood dancing by Juliet Marillier.
Beauty and the beast -> Heart's blood by Juliet Marillier.
The six swans -> Daughter of the forest by Juliet Marillier.

    That's enough for now, haha.

  24. I honestly can't think of a retelling I've read that I've liked better than the original. The only retellings I can think of right now that I've read are the re-writes of the original fairy tales and I liked the dark versions better, even as a child. I haven't read any of the new retellings, yet, though I'm looking forward to it. michelle_willms@yahoo.com
