Welcome to Classics Retold 2013! I saw this on
The Cheap Reader a few months ago and, having just read a retelling of Frankenstein, decided to sign up for the Nineteenth Century and Gothic Classics Retold Project hosted by
Bookish Whimsy. As is probably obvious I chose Frankenstein as my classic and ever since I've been on the lookout for re-tellings of Frankenstein, as well as re-reading the original novel by Mary Shelley. I've also been watching movie versions of Frankenstein, mostly all true-to-the-book versions but a handful of other things too.
Over the next four weeks look out for reviews including
