Top Ten Books When You Need Something Light & Fun
This is my idea of light and/or fun, what I read when I want something funny, light or fluffy - brain candy as my mother used to say!
Artemis Fowl - Eoin Colfer |
The Eyre Affair - Jasper Fforde |
Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy - Douglas Adams |
Color Of Magic - Terry Pratchett |
Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones |
Harry Potter - J K Rowling |
One For The Money - Janet Evanovich |
The Princess Bride - William Goldman |
Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen |
Stardust - Neil Gaiman |
I love your list! I figured someone had to put Terry Pratchett (I've not read him just yet but my husband loves his stuff - someday very soon...).
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I have had Stardust on my TBR list for a while, I hope I get to read it soon!

I've read 8 of your 10 choices, and our list shares 3 choices (Harry Potter, Howl's Moving Castle & Hitch Hiker's Guide)! The only one of those that I didn't really care about was One for the Money.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read The Eyre Affair and The Princess Bride, and hope to get to them soon!
