Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted on Tynga's Reviews where we can share what new books we've picked up this past week be they bought, borrowed or downloaded. There are also lots of other 'book haul' memes out there for you to choose from!
It's been a good week in terms of book buying, just one book which was actually a preorder that I completely forgot was due out around now and a couple of review books that I'm excited about. The majority of my haul this week though is the giant stack of library books I somehow managed to acquire! Hopefully they'll keep me going for a while... There's a couple of -rereads in the pile and the only Mieville book I haven't read so fingers crossed it's as good as the rest!
Bought
The Boy Who Lost Fairyland |
The Ghost Fields | Ghosts of War | The Raven's Head |

You've got a great selection of books this week, Fi. I hope that you enjoy them all. :-) My Haul
ReplyDeleteIf only I knew what to pick up next, spoilt for choice sp dithering over what to read!
DeleteThanks for stopping by :)
Nice haul! That should keep you going for a while! There are some really great looking covers as well. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will keep me going for a while, especially as I'm going away for a week later this month so plenty of books to take with me :)
DeleteThis will keep you busy for a while. I love the Fallen Kingdom Series so much.

This is my second attempt at reading the Fallen Kingdom series. I borrowed the first book a while ago but had to return it before I finished!
DeleteWoah, nice haul! I absolutely adored Seed; it's so different from what I usually read, but it was a really wonderful book. Vendetta recently caught my eye and now I can't wait to read it. I hope you enjoy all your books this week, they all look fabulous.

I've heard good things about Seed so I'm looking forward to reading it! I'm hoping to get to Vendetta in the next couple of days on one of my train journeys so fingers crossed :)
DeleteAwesome haul! Lock & Mori is one that I've been seeing around a lot and it seems pretty interesting. I have been meaning to check out the Falling Kingdoms series for a while now! I hope you have a great week. :)

Nice haul. Ghosts of War looks very cool, and I just snagged a copy of The Drowning City not too long ago. I had The Bone Palace and Kingdoms of Dust on my shelf, but didn't realize I was missing the first book until I sat down to give the series a read while on vacation.
ReplyDeleteThe Uncrowned King was a great read. I didn't care so much for the 3rd book, but the 4th resolved all my issues.
Wow! That's a lot of library books! You have an amazing selection there! I wouldn't know where to start! All that and you only bought one...excellent! I hope you enjoy them all!

ReplyDeleteIt sounds really good so fingers crossed! Looking forward to seeing what you think of it too :)
DeleteThat's an awful lot of library books, ahaha I hope you enjoy them all! I also received a review copy of Lock and Mori - it is something I have been anticipating for a while and I can't wait to get to! Looking forward to knowing what you think of it as well :3
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful library haul. Glad to see I am not the one to check out so many at once. Feel free to check out my blog at http://bookertsfarm.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteOoooh, nice haul. I love Amanda Downum's work, I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm almost sure I read The Drowning City when it first came out but can't find any mention of it in my book journals so thought I'd grab the whole series all together :)
DeleteWhat a haul! Tess Gerritsen's books are good. The Bane Chronicles is on my TBR list. I think a couple others here are on my to-read list on goodreads as well. I hope you enjoy all these. Happy Reading!
