Book Haul #38

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted on Tynga's Reviews and Letterbox Love is a UK edition hosted by Narratively Speaking. Here we can share what new books we've picked up this past week. There are also lots of other 'book haul' memes out there for you to choose from!

Operation TBR is going fairly well, the not buying bit anyway - I still don't seem to be reading anything I own! This week's haul is big because it's library week and my beloved sister took pity on me and bought books... She's such an enabler! Anyway, she bought me five of Kim Harrison's Hollows books which I used to own but unfortunately they were in the one box that got lost in transit the last time I moved, along with a book that I've heard quite a bit about.

 From my sister

Dead Witch Walking - Kim Harrison

The Good The Bad And The Undead - Kim Harrison

Every Which Way But Dead - Kim Harrison

A Fistful Of Charms - Kim Harrison

Pale Demon - Kim Harrison

Shambling Guide To New York City - Mur Lafferty

Library Books

The Spook's Apprentice - Joseph Delaney

Tall Tales From Pitch End - Nigel McDowell

Death & Co. - D J McCune

The Fire Rose - Mercedes Lackey

The Serpent's Shadow - Mercedes Lackey

The Gates of Sleep - Mercedes Lackey

Phoenix And Ashes - Mercedes Lackey

The 5th Wave - Rick Yancey

Insignia - S J Kincaid

Verdigris Deep - Frances Hardinge

A Face Like Glass - Frances Hardinge

The Bonehill Curse - Jon Mayhew

Jewel of Atlantis - Gena Showalter

The Nymph King - Gena Showalter

The Humans - Matt Haig

Close My Eyes - Sophie McKenzie

Just What Kind Of Mother Are You? - Paula Daly

The Hex Factor - Harriet Goodwin

The Bookman's Tale - Charlie Lovett

The New Watch - Sergei Lukyanenko

The Palace of Curiosities - Rosie Garland

The School For Good & Evil - Soman Chainani

This House Is Haunted - John Boyne

Chasing The Dark - Sam Hepburn
