So, there's my Top 10... or Top 13 if you include the honourable mentions I included! I could have quite easily turned this into a top twenty list of books I try to make every one read but I missed out all the classics I normally try
push on people along with several more fantasy, horror and SF authors
that I read when I was little who, along with some mentioned above, are
the authors that got me reading! I wanted to recommend Kate Forsyth's
The Witches Of Eileanan
but sadly they seem to be out of print at the moment. Instead I'm
recommending Bitter Greens which I've only just started but is already a
firm favorite!
It's been awhile, but I've read Daughter Of The Forest, The Name Of The Wind, and The Shining. I loved them all, great list!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I really want to read Game of Thrones soon

Love the cover for Dreams Underfoot. Looks haunting.
ReplyDeleteLove Patrick Ness (obviously, since he's on my list as well :P). The rest I haven't read, but I've been really wanting to read something by Neil Gaiman so I might have to check out Stardust. Great list and thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading A Game of Thrones right now and really like it. I really want to read Howl's Moving Castle and The Shining.
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing such good things about Bitter Greens. I am going to to have to check it out! Great list!
ReplyDeleteYou have a few I have been on the fence about, need to rethink, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI just finished the Dark is Rising sequence a few months ago, and what a great collection of books. I definitely liked some more than others, but overall it was really exciting.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Stardust! Haven't read it in ages, so I need to reread. Also love the Dark is Rising. Such a great series!
ReplyDeleteI just picked up a copy of Game of Thrones. I decided it was high time I found out what everyone was on about!
