Waiting On Wednesday #7 - Dodger

Waiting On Wednesday, where we put the spotlight on upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating, is hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine

This week it's the turn of possibly one of the best fantasy authors of the last three decades (in my opinion anyway), Sir Terry Pratchett!

Dodger comes out September 13 in both the UK - published by Transworld, and the US - published by HarperCollins.

Dodger - US cover

"A storm. Rain-lashed city streets. A flash of lightning. A scruffy lad sees a girl leap desperately from a horse-drawn carriage, in a vain attempt to escape her captors. Can the lad stand by and let her be caught again? Of course not, because he's... Dodger!" - Goodreads

I'm desperately waiting on this one, inspired by the Artful Dodger and Charles Dickens, because quite frankly I'm making the most of any new books that Sir Terry publishes. As we all know he has Alzheimers and he's not going to be able to write forever but until that point I will still buy his books. I've heard good things and bad things about it but as usual I'm ignoring everyone's opinion except my own!

What are you waiting for this week?
