Welcome to the Beach Reads In August Giveaway hosted by Stuck In Books! Up for grabs is a book that you've been saving to read on the beach, whether it's an epic fantasy tome, a contemporary YA or a Summer romance! This is your chance to win the beach read of your choice! One person will win the beach read of their choice from the Book Depository up to the value of $15 (US). Open internationally, please check here that BD ships to your country before entering to avoid disappointment! The giveaway is open from now until midnight on August 15th.

ReplyDeleteI don't go to the beach, but I read on the train. I recently read These Broken Stars and the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and I really want to finish those series. For fun, I started reading the Rosemary Beach books -- such soapy good fun.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunatley I won't be at the beach at all, but I'll be reading lots anyway! Some I have on my TBR pile are Beach Town by Mary Kay Andrews, The Sound of Glass by Karen White, and Summer Secrets by Jane Green just to name a few!

I am taking my ARC kindle copy of Darken the Stars by Amy A. Bartol to the pool. (I live by the beach but I don't like my beach) This is also the book I would love to have the physical book in my hands. Sadly it doesn't come out until September. Thank you so much.

ReplyDeleteWell, not exactly to the beach, as the beach here in Washington is generally freezing cold and rocky all year long...but this summer I'm tackling Philippa Gregory's Meridon trilogy.
ReplyDeleteI have not thought that far ahead yet. Ironically my husband and I avoid the beach in the summer and go starting in the fall for our anniversary! So much to do between now and then! I think a fun beach read would be The art of baking blind. I am looking forward to the coolness of the West Coast Oregon Beaches!

ReplyDeleteNowhere near a beach, but a quick read...well a short story will do. So I'd probably bring Siddhartha by Hesse, a book of Shakespeare' sonnets or bring True North by Lasky because I could re-read and fly through that book again.

ReplyDeleteWell I'm going to the beach this week so I will be taking The Zookeeper's Wife: A War Story by Diane Ackerman since I am currently reading it. I'll also take my Kindle in case I finish.
I live on the beach but my favorite place to read is my bed. Book-wise, my favorite genre is thrillers so maybe The Wrong Man by Kate White, The Girl in the Woods by Gregg Olsen, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, and Where They Found Her by Kimberley McCreight.
