Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted on
Tynga's Reviews and Letterbox Love is a UK edition hosted by
Narratively Speaking. Here we can share what new books we've picked up this past week. There
are also lots of other 'book haul' memes out there for you to choose
from!
So... This week turned out to be quite bookish, especially for someone who is on a BOOK BUYING BAN! A few books I'd preordered from
Book Depository turned up (not that I spent any money because I ordered them last year and paid at the time of ordering so no real money spent!) I sent off a couple of old text books last week to trade in and got a gift certificate in return so I used that to buy some books for my Kindle (still no real money spent!) Last but not least, it was library week and as I'd gone slightly mad on the old requesting I got a huge stack! Definitely no real money spent there and I donated another 25 books which I'll never read again, I don't know why but I'm suddenly finding it a lot easier to part with books at the moment and I'm in desperate need of more storage space for things that aren't books! Here's what I got this week, next week might be a good week too as it's my birthday and I'm at least hoping to get money to feed my book buying addiction as I don't think I'll get any actual books.
